Alan Sans

Alan Sans is a stylish typeface that skillfully balances the utilitarian aspects of typography with its expressive potential. We sought a typeface that could remain functional in interface contexts, such as websites, while also standing out more vividly in marketing applications. The result is a playful sans-serif typeface that draws inspiration from a traditional “grotesque” skeleton but is reimagined with a softer, more flexible visual treatment. This tension between simplicity and expressiveness is also evident in the weight progression of Alan Sans’s seven styles: as the weight increases, the typeface reveals more personality. In essence, Alan Sans embodies our brand’s dual nature. It aims to be robust yet gentle, serious yet approachable, simple yet sophisticated, transparent yet noticeable. It’s our “not so corporate” corporate typeface.
